Our Mission & Vision

The mission, vision, and biblical foundation behind developing the next generation of Christian leaders.

Mission

Develop and support the next generation of Christian leaders through outdoor recreation and alternative education.

What does it mean?

Development includes guiding participants to reflect on what they already believe and understand about faith and leadership. Through Scripture, encouragement, and faith-centered conversations, they begin to own their personal faith, recognize their potential as leaders, understand their calling to make disciples of all nations, and consider how their gifts can be used to serve others.

Through workshops, Bible studies, and leadership training, participants discover what the Word of God teaches about leadership, discipleship, and serving others. Biblical foundations of leadership and practical examples of how those principles are applied in real life are introduced and discussed.

By taking part in simulations, collaborative learning, and real leadership opportunities, participants gain practical experience and practice applying Christ-centered leadership in meaningful ways.

Participants are guided to discern how they can lead within their own communities and apply what they have learned in their daily lives, relationships, and areas of influence.

Support continues once participants begin serving and leading in their communities. Alitheia provides tools, resources, and guidance so leaders can remain rooted in their faith and continue growing in their abilities.
